Hochul leads Blakeman in polls, gets boost from Mamdani

Two polls released Wednesday show Gov. Kathy Hochul ahead of her Republican opponent, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman — with very different leads.

“The enthusiasm is up on the Democratic side; it’s down on the Republican side. Even though we see these numbers getting closer, it’s still a nine-point lead for Hochul,” said consultant David Carlucci.
